Back Squats
5@ 115
5@ 125
6@ 130
Feeling great on Back Squats. Getting my energy back and re-adjusting to Low-Carb/Keto diet again after a few weeks of slacking!

Tabata Bottom-to-Bottom Squats
100+ (I lost count!)
Immediately follow with a 1 mile run – finished the mile in 8:03.

I’m so glad my energy is coming back and that I’m feeling good again. Changing up the diet is always rough the first few days!

Tabata Mashup:
4 minutes at each exercise – 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest – then move to next exercise.

Back Squats (65#)
Double Unders
Push up with knee to chest crunch
Wall Ball (10#)
GHD Back Extensions
GHD Sit ups
Row for calories

This turned out to be a tough workout because of the double unders working your arms, then immediately followed by push ups then wall ball – all requiring ARMS!! But, it was a great WOD and I’m looking forward to the extended calorie burn from the TABATA!!

Back Squat Progressions
5 @ 100
3 @ 115
8 @ 130

then

10 minute AMRAP of:
5 Hang Power Cleans
5 Sumo deadlift high pulls
5 Push press
*wearing a 20# vest

The back squats were great – despite yesterday’s long miles! I was shocked at being able to do 8 on the last set!!!! Then, I did the mini-wod wearing a 20# vest. It was hard but felt great! I am feeling wonderful these days!!!

Back Squats
3 @ 110#
3 @ 115#
7 @ 120#

Felt great on Back Squats today!!

then did a 20 minute Tabata WOD of:
Rowing
GHD Sit ups
Kettlebell Swings (35#)
Air Squats
Plank (w/ 25# plate)

The Tabata felt great! I haven’t done a good Tabata WOD in a long while, so it was fun doing one again!!

Tomorrow I get to REST!!!!! YAY!!! I’ll be doing some stretching and mobility work to make sure I go in to Saturday’s competition feeling GREAT! I may get out for an easy run – we’ll see!! I’m looking forward to testing myself Saturday. I don’t expect to be the fastest or even at the top. I just hope to do really well – for ME! Several of the mini-WODs will give taller people an advantage, but I’ll still work hard and do my best!

For the last couple of days I’ve been on basically a carb-binge. I’m not sure why, but starting Thursday I just had some massive cravings for sugar and just went with it. I don’t know what caused it, but I was stressing out and just didn’t feel like fighting it. Its been 2 months solid of low-carbing and this was the first time I really felt this kind of cravings. Stress + cravings = hard to deal with!

Today I did:
Back Squats
5 @ 100#
5 @ 110#
10 @ 115#

then I did Angie: 100 pull ups, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats. I believe I finished around 22 minutes, but the Coach turned off the clock to reset it for the next class when I was halfway through my sit ups, and he wasn’t sure what the time on it was at and I also missed time going to grab a timer to finish timing. That really sucked too because I was hoping to beat my previous PR of 23:01. Now I have no idea if I actually beat my PR or not. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to do it again soon!
