I took today as a Rest Day, and honestly I’ve been working out “light” all week and felt so antsy from not working out. If I would have had the time, I would have definitely gone! Obviously I’m starting to get over whatever nagging bug I had that was making me feel so drained for the last week or so. I don’t really feel like I need a carb up day tomorrow, but I’ll see how I feel after the first 5K. I may just carb up lightly and only for half of the day. I don’t feel like I’ve worked hard enough all week to really have depleted any glycogen stores. In fact, it took me until yesterday to drop all the water weight I had put on last weekend while carbing up for 30+ hours. Definitely an indication that I wasn’t burning up fuel like I have in previous weeks where I worked out super hard. That is what low energy will do to you, but I’m hoping the lower intensity week will give me a real boost for next week.
